Hereby we would like to inform you about choices concerning your health insurance in the new year.
We would like to inform you, that we can take care of you in 2020 with every health insurance. We have an agreement with all Dutch health insurance companies, directly or through the Verloskundige Zorggroep Groot Amsterdam. As a result, you may not find our name in the online ‘Zorgzoeker’.
Obstetric care is part of the basic health insurance package, which means that our obstetric care and all medical ultrasounds are reimbursed. There may be other costs around the pregnancy for which you have to pay a personal contribution: for example costs for a birth in the hospital without a medical indication, a contribution to maternity care, costs for a lactation consultant and for contraception. You can take out an additional insurance for this. We recommend that you check your policy, so that you can make a choice which is best for you.
